Elevated Health and Wellness was founded by Keyona, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in healthcare and a passion for personalized, patient-centered care. Her mission is to elevate health by making care accessible, affordable, and tailored to each patient’s unique lifestyle.
Keyona began her journey at Northern Illinois University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, then continued on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Governors State University. She is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, certified by the American Heart Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics, and is a member of The Obesity Society.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Keyona served as a Registered Nurse in some of Chicago’s busiest and most respected medical centers. There, she gained extensive experience in leadership, trauma, and critical care. That fast-paced foundation shaped her deep understanding of the human body and the importance of compassionate, personalized care.
